  1. Considering that nearly the entire album is drenched in programming and drum loops, it's nearly mechanical with no soul. Even so, there is an addictive quality to its musical presence. The opening track, "Little Wonder", is a hypnotical dance number that has drum patches bouncing around the speakers like gun spray/5().

  5. From the addictively danceable "Little Wonder" to the appropriately unnerving "Seven Years in Tibet," the album is full of the genius that made him so remarkable to begin with. As for the loops and samples, it's less a novelty and more Bowie's willingness to open his music to new tools/5().
  6. Fortunately, Bowie sounds rejuvenated by this new form, and songs like "Little Wonder" and "Seven Years in Tibet" are far stronger than the bulk of Outside. Still, the record falls short of its goals, and it doesn't offer enough intrigue or innovations to make Earthling anything more than an admirable effort.
  7. ‘Law (Earthlings On Fire)’ Earthling was David Bowie’s follow-up to ’s diotutetalocomp.camtenttitildebiguladtingsunleroo.coe. It was Bowie’s first self-produced album since ’s Diamond Dogs, and continued his exploration of industrial and electronic music. I wanted variety on Earthling, industrial pop, drum ’n’ bass, an aggression.
  8. The opening song and second single from David Bowie’s Earthling album, ‘Little Wonder’ was a sample-heavy drum and bass track which namechecked each of Disney’s seven dwarfs. With ‘Little Wonder’, I thought I’d reactivate ‘The Laughing Gnome’ and the Seven Dwarfs of Snow White.
